Talc is a hydrothermal alteration mineral. Magnesium-rich minerals often become talc after hydrothermal alteration, so talc often presents olivine, enstatite, amphibole, tremolite and other mineral illusions.
Talc is a common silicate mineral, it is very soft and has a creamy feel.
People have selected 10 minerals to represent 10 hardness levels, called Mohs hardness. Among these 10 levels, the first (that is, the softest one) is talc.
Soft talc can replace chalk to draw white marks.
Talc is generally lump, leaf, fibrous or radial, and the color is white, off-white, and it will have various colors due to other impurities.
Talc is a mineral talc of the silicate talc group, which mainly contains hydrated magnesium silicate.
Talc
Talc application field
Talc has many uses, such as refractory materials, papermaking, rubber fillers, insulating materials, lubricants, pesticide absorbents, leather coatings, cosmetic materials and engraving materials. Talc can be divided into: cosmetic grade, medicine-food grade, coating grade, papermaking grade, plastic grade, rubber grade, cable grade, ceramic grade, fine talcum powder, waterproof material grade, etc. according to its use. The use can be described as very wide.
Talc Powder
Processing technology of talcum powder production line
Talc powder processing is generally divided into talc coarse powder processing (0-3MM), fine powder processing (20 mesh-400 mesh), and talc ultrafine powder deep processing (400 mesh-1250 mesh) and micro powder processing (1250 mesh-3250 mesh) .
The first stage: crushing
The bulk material of talc is crushed by the crusher to the fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the mill.
The second stage: grinding
The crushed small pieces of talc are sent to the silo by the elevator, and then sent to the grinding chamber of the mill evenly and quantitatively by the vibrating feeder for grinding.
YGM Raymond machine and
MTM high-pressure suspension roller mill can be used for fine powder processing;
Superfine powder processing can choose
HGM ultrafine grinding mill,
CLUM superfine vertical mill;
Coarse powder processing can choose
PCC European coarse powder mill
Clirik Machinery HGM Series Ultra-fine Grinding Mill is designed for various materials such as talc, which can accept non-flammable and explosive materials below 20mm and Mohs hardness below 6.
As the main machine's grinding roller and grinding roller assembly have undergone major changes, the material has to undergo multiple grinding from top to bottom, making full use of the centrifugal force of the grinding roller, and the contact area with the grinding ring is large, so fineness can be produced Very high powder, the fineness of the finished product is mainly distributed between 5-45 microns.
The third stage: classification
The ground material is classified by the classifier, and the unqualified powder is classified by the classifier and then returned to the host for re-grinding.
The fourth stage: collecting powder
The powder that meets the fineness is separated and collected in the dust collector through the pipeline through the airflow.
The collected product powder is sent to the finished product silo through the discharge port by the conveying device, and then is packaged by a powder tanker or an automatic baler.
