On May 9, the hoisting of the last vertical mill finished barrel was completed. The hoisting work of the ring roller mill and the raw material barrels and finished barrels of the vertical mill added later by the Guangxi calcium carbonate customer has been successfully completed, marking that the raw material barrels and finished barrels of the vertical mill have entered the installation stage in an all-round way, laying a foundation for the subsequent hoisting work.
In this project, 4 sets of HGM micro powder ring roller mills and 3 sets of CLUM vertical mill raw material warehouses were hoisted, which greatly improved the grinding capacity efficiency.
The on-site silo is in sharp contrast with the on-site staff. Such a huge metal equipment is like a steel beast, exuding its unique momentum. In the face of such a giant, we were careful with every step of the lifting and transfer work, but our fears proved to be unnecessary.
Before hoisting, the relevant personnel of the business department carefully sort out each process according to the hoisting plan and analyze the possible problems. Considering the dimensions, weight, and construction site of the steel silo, the transportation of the steel silo becomes the key link for the smooth hoisting. And under the premise of construction safety, the project department carefully organizes and strives to maximize the efficiency of machinery and equipment, personnel and economic benefits. Regarding transportation, the engineering department reasonably arranges the division of labor, actively communicates with the project department in advance, clears road obstacles well in advance, and actively maintains communication and coordination with relevant units to ensure that the transportation road is unobstructed during the entire hoisting period, and the hoisting work is carried out smoothly.
With the successful hoisting of the raw material barrels and finished barrels of the vertical mill, the production of the raw material barrels and the finished barrels has turned into a comprehensive installation stage, which has laid the foundation for the subsequent steel structure hoisting tasks.
Two kinds of ultrafine mills used in Guangxi calcium carbonate project
1. HGM Micro Powder Ring Roller Mill
HGM micro powder ring roller mill also named HGM ultrafine grinding mill. It can be used for calcium carbonate, limestone, calcite, marble, talc, barite, gypsum, dolomite, bentonite, mica, pyrophyllite, sepiolite, diatomite, graphite, alumite, fluorite, potassium feldspar , Phosphate rock, pigment and other more than 100 kinds of non-flammable and explosive materials with humidity less than 6% and Mohs hardness not greater than 6 are processed into ultra-fine powder. The particle size of the finished product is 325-2500 mesh (0.044-0.005mm).
Working principle of HGM grinding mill
The main engine motor drives the main shaft and the turntable to rotate through the reducer, and the turntable drives dozens of ring rollers to roll and rotate in the grinding ring raceway through the pin. The bulk material is crushed into small particles by the hammer crusher and then sent to the storage bin by the elevator.
The electromagnetic vibrating feeder evenly sends the material to the bulk material tray on the upper part of the turntable, and the material is scattered to the circle under the action of centrifugal force.
The periphery of the grinding ring falls into the raceway of the grinding ring to be punched, milled, ground and pulverized by the ring roller. After the first layer is pulverized, the material falls into the second and third layers.
The suction effect of the high-pressure centrifugal fan sucks the outside air The crushed material is brought into the classifier.
The rotating turbine in the powder concentrator makes the coarse particles fall back for regrinding, and the fine powder enters the cyclone powder collector with the airflow and is discharged from the discharge valve at the bottom of the powder concentrator.
After purification, it is discharged through the fan and muffler.

2. CLUM Vertiacl Mill
CLUM Vertical Mill is the abbreviation of CLUM series ultra-fine powder vertical roller mill. It can be widely used in chemical, metallurgical, non-metallic ores and other industries, especially in the field of ultra-fine grinding of white non-metallic ores. Rubber, PVC, ink and other industries provide high-quality fillers and additives. It can be widely used in large-scale ultra-fine dry powder processing of non-metallic minerals such as calcite, marble, limestone, dolomite, barite, talc, kaolin, dolomite, wollastonite, gypsum, feldspar, and pyrophyllite.
It can process 400-3000 mesh high quality fine powder. Compared with the HGM grinding mill, the CLUM vertical mill has a higher subdivision content, D97 can reach 2 microns, and D50 can reach 4 microns.
Working principle of CLUM Ultrafine Vertical Mill
The grinding disc is driving by motor through reducer. The material falls to grinding disc from the feed opening. The materials are driven to the edge of disc by the centrifugal force and crushed into fine powders by rollers. Then, the hot air from the nozzle take the fine powder to high effiency classsifer.The qualified powder are taken by the air to the powder collector to be collected, while the unqualified powder are sent back for regrinding.
